TWO IN A ROW FOR ST ALOYSIUS COLLEGE

On Wednesday 25 February, the Team from St Aloysius College, Glasgow, representing the Rotary Club of Glasgow, successfully defended the District 1230 Senior Youth Speaks Title which they won last year.
In what was probably the most closely contested contest for a number of years, 9 teams provided an evening of an extremely high standard of public speaking. A very appreciative audience in Reid Kerr College in Paisley enjoyed an evening which highlighted the talent of todays youth.
The St Aloysius Team now go to the RIBI Final on Saturday 18 April to be held at Kings Wessex School, Cheddar, Somerset, hosted by District 1200, where they hope to defend the national title, which a team from St Aloysius won in London in 2008.
